The candidacy of Alex Otti, Labour party gubernatorial candidate for Abia state receives a boost as one of the most outstanding political structures, the ‘Abia Rejoice’ of APC gubernatorial aspirant Dr. Uche Ogah joined a chain of other political parties including SDP Abia State Chapter led by the Deputy Governor candidate, Chief Dickson Asonye and other prominent political figures including Chief Ncheta Omerekpe, Abia state PDP gubernatorial aspirant alongside several pro-groups and socio-cultural structures including the Coalition of Obingwa Progressives led by Dr. Ebere Uzoukwa, Association of Imo State Residents in Abia State facilitated by Senator Bright Nwanne and Chief Mrs. Ezine, Bende Patriotic Front for Alex Otti, led by Hon. Friday Uko, Abia North Political Forum, CEOIAM International, led by Mrs. Nnenna Ihunnaya Alaukwu, Nwaka Development Union of Ikwuano, One Destiny Organization and many others jostling to join in the coming historic 11th March elections proclaimed as one of the most decisive event in the 24 years the PDP led government of Abia state is alleged to have held the state hostage.

Speaking to Comrade Njoku Jeremiah Ajike, the Abia State Publicity Secretary of Labour Party, he affirmed the party’s readiness to launch to victory in the coming gubernatorial and state assembly elections;
“Abia state politicians of PDP stock has likened the Saturday 11th March elections as a battle to finish, and I asked them, to finish what?, is it the underdevelopment and filth you have attracted to the state, the teachers’ and health workers salaries you have used to buy luxury cars or the pensioners money you have spent on prostitutes and frivolities, you need to take your time to travel around this state to see the extent of damage the PDP elements in government has unleashed upon this peaceful, wealthy region that has been rendered so impoverished by wicked and myopic individuals parading as political office holders.”
“Like our principal Dr. Alex Otti had declared, we will bury PDP in Abia state and its allies on the 11th March 2023 for the new Abia that works for all.”
“Otherwise tell me one good thing the PDP led government in Abia state has done other than build a circle of influence of a privileged few who sees government as an avenue for graft and official larceny.”

By the grace of God, I was directly involved in the negotiations of some of the alliances, not a penny was spent to convince anybody to join Alex Otti to rescue Abia state and its residents, most especially, the workforce from the sordid situation they have found themselves in.”
Recently there have been rumours of planned mayhem to disrupt the elections and discourage the electorates on the 11th of march across polling units in Abia state and it is alleged that PDP is scheming to retain power in Abia state. Mr. Njoku clarified the position of the party.
“Yes, we have heard rumors of planned mayhem and disruption of voter’s activity on Saturday 11th March 2023, Well, the security is on top of the situation and that is the much I can say regarding that, but coming to PDP, they’re not alone in whatsoever evil plan that has leaked to the public, they have allies and we are aware of their nocturnal activities like bats,
