Recent cyber attacks directed at the Labour party led government under the leadership of H.E. Gov. Alex Otti in Abia state and counter misleading information propagated by e-bugs and a certain Obinna Oriaku, former top cabinet member in the defunct Abia PDP, calls for scrutiny and clarity in the manner the fellows has engaged social media users spreading false information to deceive unsuspecting members of the public, perhaps to divert the growing positive attention by Nigerians and the International community in the quality governance the Ott’s government has brought into Abia state.
For the benefit of doubt, the PDP government where Obinna Oriaku served with pride as a top cabinet member of the woeful ex Gov Okezie’s Ikpeazu administration was kicked out of Abia State by unanimous decision of over 75% of Abians for their gross incompetence, negligence to the call of duty and celebrated fraudulent activities which many are still a subject of litigation till date.
It is unfortunate to note that while other opposition parties in the state has embraced the quality governance Labour Party under the guidance of Gov Alex Otti has brought into Abia State with several endorsement and more, the likes of Obinna Oriaku, former Commissioner of Finance under the moribund Abia PDP has been engaged in vindictive campaign of calumny where he and his gangs of e-bugs crawl into every social media platform to regale themselves in grammatical analysis of what a responsible government should look like and sometimes in a mockery comparison bringing the Enugu State Government and Abia State under Gov Alex Otti to unproductive political analysis.
As a former top cabinet member of Abia State government under one of the most humiliating and shameful political administration that virtually made every Abians to hide their face in shame
Obinna Oriaku should know better not to engage in junkyard party jive talking, worse off, from the filth his administration made of Abia before they were all disgracefully kicked out by the Abians.
Mr. Obinna Oriaku should know that the filth, infrastructural decay and colossal administrative mess his administration ran away from is what the Labour party led government of Gov Alex Otti has been painstakingly working very hard to clean up and rebuilding a completely collapsed infrastructure the previous administration under the financial advisor of Obinna Oriaku completely messed up.chasing every responsible investors and business owners away from the city of commerce.
Should it have suffice Obinna Oriaku and his gangs to apply for a teaching job in one of the schools in Enugu State to practice their windy English speaking and financial analysis rather than constitute a nuisance across every social media platform spewing garbage of academically inclined financial analysis that is of no significance to the business of governance in Abia state today.
I have come across a 1 page document that has become the subject of their grammatical financial analysis of the Otti’s government titled ‘Anti Corruption Alert.’
The paper has listed 17 items they termed as ‘non-existent’ in the State then I take a careful look from item 1 to 12 in the list and I wonder what excitement does it give to Obinna Oriaku and his co e-bugs to continue to de-market a government that has remain functional and result oriented from the first day of its inauguration till date, a government that has virtually brought back the pride of every Abia state indigenes to identify with his homeland other than the shameful past under the watch of Obinna Oriaku and his co- travelers.
I would like to use this medium to encourage any interested fellow that may have fallen under the deception of Obinna Oriaku, social media grammatical analysis of confusion to visit Abia today under the wise leadership of the Labour Party led government of Gov Alex Otti.
I am certain that Mr. Oriaku’s attempt to engage the social media platform as an easy tool to whip up sentiments enough to discredit the Otti’s administration would be easily uncovered as nothing but pure mischief from individuals priding in ‘over sabi: and self hate.
It is pertinent to make clear that at no point has Gov Alex Otti made any attempt to discourage the oppositions from doing the works of checks and balances and that is with wisdom, because in his own words we can make mistakes in the course of service to the people, the beauty of Labour party and its government is; When we make mistakes, we admit because we are humans and humans are infallible.
In clear terms, Mr. Oriaku and his gang’s 17 items list that has perhaps, brought them additional excitement to malign the Alex Otti government is a clear object of deception, confusion and distraction.
Beginning from the new improved capital city of Umuahia where a day has not passed without one ongoing construction or the other compared to the dark days of Mr. Obinna Oriaku and his gangs when the city used to wear the semblance of abandoned rural town with mountain of garbage right in front of the government house, the state secretariat where government staff works from was likened to a cow grazing field, the government house where the ministry of finance under Obinna Oriaku worked from used to look like where touts are bred with no functional amenities anywhere., Mr. Obinna Oriaku should prove me wrong if there is any dilapidated infrastructure under his watch that the Otti’s government has not completely overhauled, rebuilding the state from its colossal ruins to the beauty it is today.
This is a fact I know too well and not what I read or what I was told.
Mr. Oriaku’s list that his gangs are circulating online is a complete document of deception and he knows it but has chosen to walk this path of infamy with his co- travellers. Such wild analysis used to serve a past time of a certain self exiled fellow named Eks Steve, who purportedly knows everything about without stepping a foot down here, and another e-bug named Chinonye MBA who had struggled all through to malign the Otti’s administration but all in vain, smart folks whom perhaps have lost their voice in a wild duck chase but did enough to build some online clicks for fee and fame until their deception and lies begin to wear them out leaving perhaps only Oriaku to relish in his grammatical financial analysis all geared towards maligning the Otti’s Government perhaps it will endear him to Gov. Otti,
It would be convenient to accept such characters as members of Abia defunct PDP struggling by every means to regain balance as Opposition party rather than take them serious in their numerous analysis which are often concocted, perhaps to curry favour from the Enugu State government that has no business of engaging in any sort of comparison with the Labour party led government of Abia State
The fact on ground is; Abia today under the Labour party government of Alex Otti is far better in infrastructure development, including healthcare facilities, public amenities and administrative accountability which were all alien under the previous government that Mr. Oriaku proudly served and it will be foolish of anyone to buy into the argument of a man that was once assigned a role of responsibility but the entire government which he served failed woefully and without any remorse or shame such characters that served in that government are now engaged in advisory services on how to run an effective government that they know very little of.
Finally, Would it be advisable as members of the opposition to be objective in your criticism rather than engage in pepper soup financial analysis that are in most cases misleading when in actual fact, the object of your misguided analysis are visible virtually at every corner of the state beginning from Umuahia, especially in the former rat condemned offices where Mr. Obinna used to sit as Commissioner of Finance.
Visit Abia today and see the difference and be sincere to yourself if it was water and paper that was used to rebuild those infrastructure rather than hard sought money that you are now interested to probe where they were spent.
