Abia state has been in the news for so many negative images, especially in the areas of infrastructural decay and environmental disorder. Most worrisome is the leadership deficit that has made Abia state a laughing stock among South eastern states.
It takes individuals to build any nation and not spirits said Apostle Chukwuemeka GAD, therefore we have taken it upon ourselves as God representatives on earth in this part of Nigeria to rebuild our own state to the praise and honour of our God from the misery, filth and ruins men with no respect for humanity and the fear of God has subjected the state for the past 20 years of the state creation.
Apostle Chukwuemeka GAD, convener of Abia Redemption Project and President of Africa in Praise Network (APNET) for the past 4 years has been involved in grassroots mobilization of people in Abia state to join hands in total reconstruction of the state.
Apostle C GAD has adopted the most unconventional approach by acting out biblical characters like the Nehamiah of the Bible, the Deborahs, Men and women who stood up to rebuild the nation of Israel in its most turbulent times despite challenges and betrayals.
The Abia Redemption Project was set up for this purpose, to seek for men and women who will stand up for humanity and God in our time, especially in our own Jerusalem, Abia State.
This is the first-time religious bodies in the entire state will be coming together to seek the face of God, our creator to intervene in our plight. The situation in Abia State is not acceptable by any standard and God is not happy if we allow the land, he has blessed so much and left it in our custody to continue to rotten in the hands of men and women who has no fear of God nor respect for humanity. We cannot have good representatives if we are not involved in the process of selecting them. This is what APNET is set to accomplish. We want to sensitise the church on the need for a positive change in Abia leadership. Political Sensitization
The issue is not about voting in 2023 but who are we voting? How have we made sure that the people we will vote will not be like those that destroyed Abia?
If you don’t attend our meetings, you will not know what we are doing.
The members of the Abia State Redemption Project and APNET has been gathering and teaching the people leadership skills and responsibilities of citizens in the building of a viable nation.
We have been meeting, teaching, learning and praying to our God every first Saturday of every month. The women has been involved on the 3rd Saturdays of every month, We have set up online platform where we have built up strong membership all committed for the total deliverance of this state from the hands of wicked men and women and total reconstruction of our state to the best God has blessed us with.
Abia state is the heartbeat of industry, skill and technology in South East Nigeria, its unfortunate and heart breaking to see what man has done to destroy these great ideals in the name of Politics – this cannot continue and we are confident that God will hear our prayers and rout out all these group of men and women in politics whom are not fit for leadership at any form.
The best any person of Abia state indigene can do for us is to join and support our work both financially, in person and spiritually.
Many who appear indifferent to movement like these are the number one critics of this government. We complain about the sad state of Abia and now the Lord is leading this battle you appear indifference, What do uou really want?
Many of us are still waiting for 2023 just to repeat the same mistakes that has brought us to where we are today.
I visited a group, asked how many voted in 2023 very few hands were raised yet we look for good governance, who is fooling who?
With our mouths we condemn evil but by our actions we promote it. What kind of Christians are we? We talk about realities of heaven yet we are not concerned in the process of making the heaven. We care less about happenings around us, we appear docile and bewitched, yet in our various denominations we demonstrate piety, does it make sense?
We appear heavenly conscious but earthly useless does it really add up?
Charges Church leaders in Abia State to join in this crucial mission
Our primary responsibility is to keep the piece of the earth entrusted into our hands, enforce the will of God on earth, be the light and salt of the earth we are called to be, anything short of this is mere religion.
