“Majority of the killings, kidnaps and destruction of innocent people’s property has been attributed to the Fulani ethnic groups taking pride in the silent support of the Presidency whom has not hidden its complicity”
In a manner likened to an outburst over a fit of frustration, erstwhile supporters of President Muhammad Buhari government stark indifference in the killings, kidnappings and destruction of farmlands belonging to harmless indigenous people of Nigeria have begun to voice out their concerns over the Buhari administration taciturn support of the lawlessness perpetrated by groups of people known as Fulani Herdsmen basking under the comfort of an infamous pseudo religious organization addressed as Myetti Allah and FUNAM whom are fond of taking pride in the Presidency’s silent backing of their heinous activities
An Abuja based Muslim cleric; Sheik Muhammad Nuru Khalid has lend his voice to the frustration of Governor Bello Aminu Massari of Katsina State by calling on the Buhari government to address the menace ravaging the peaceful coexistence of Nigerians of all tribes, faith and ethnic.
Sheik Nuru Khalid has wondered what is the use of having a minister of communication when all communication between kidnappers demanding for ransom from families of victims passes through the same communication gadget under the supervision of the ministry of communication that the government has been making a fuss over registration of all sim card holders, NIN and BVN.“
“Why do you have animals that you cannot feed and you have to go and destroy other people’s land and farms to feed your cows and you say that is right – that is not right “Herdsmen should stay in one place”
“Something is not right and the earlier we make bold to speak the truth the better for us all.”
In his statement the cleric has declared; “Nobody can Islamize or Christianize Nigeria” It is impossible” he said. “All these people addressed as ‘bandits’ destroying people’s livehood and properties should be arrested and dealt with, their activities has nothing to do with Islam and If this is all the sacrifice I have to do as a father and a grandfather I am ready to die for the consequences of my utterances.”
The Cleric declared that he is not ignorant of the activities of those sycophants and ignorant supporters of failures who are ready to kill anybody who said Buhari has failed in his administration, we are aware of the same antecedents in 2007, it is the same people.
Adding to the anger of the Islamic cleric over Buhari’s failures and his followers, Governor Bello Masari of Katsina state went on air to voice out the complicity of the Buhari’s government in the fast decent of anarchy in Nigeria over his insistence on the revisit of “Grazing Routes” for cows in the 21st century when nations are discussing technology not even after many Southern state governors had kicked against it.
Massari queried the Presidency and his supporters in anger; “Why do you have animals that you cannot feed and you have to go and destroy other people’s land and farms to feed your cows and you say that is right – that is not right “Herdsmen should stay in one place”
Masari had declared that majority of the killings, kidnaps and destruction of innocent people’s property has been attributed to the Fulani ethnic groups taking pride in the silent support of the Presidency whom has not hidden its complicity any time cases involving the herdsmen and indigenous people of Nigeria is mentioned.
“Buhari’s indifference has contributed to the reemergence of secessionist tendencies among Nigerians whom have been living together despite their cultural differences” this is what happens when the government fails and refuses to address communal issues from a nationalistic viewpoint, “every government is subject to criticism” said Sheik Nuhu Kalid, this is not the first time and if this is the only thing Nigerians can do to save the situation by speaking up to these bad signals “Some of us are ready to die for speaking up and let my blood be in the hands of anyone that is tempted to kill for speaking the truth that should set us all free”
