PRESS RELEASE.
We use this medium to announce a SIX MONTHS SUSPENSION of the following persons for activities and actions inimical to the development of Abia State.
We have been informed of a purported impeachment of the State Chairman of IPAC Abia State Hon Ceekay Igara by persons who claims to be IPAC members.
Consequently, IPAC is made up of 18 credible political parties including PDP, APGA, APC, AA, Accord, YPP, Labour, ADP, ZLP, BOOT, NNPP, APP, APM, PRP, SDP, NRM, AAC etc.
IPAC is not an opposition to the Governor and Abia State Government rather relate with the Governor on advisory capacity which we have been doing up until today.
We therefore state categorically that Hon Ceekay Igara is still and will be discharging his duties that he was elected to do until his tenure expires.
We therefore use this platform to announce a SIX MONTHS SUSPENSION of the following persons for activities and actions inimical to the development of Abia State.
They are as follows:-
1. Mr Joseph Ulu of NRM
2. Mr Victor Umunna of APM
We place on record all their activities with elements in the state who don’t see anything good with our State Government and are opposed to good conscience and reasoning.
We therefore put all governmental machineries on notice, The Nigeria Police, The DSS, INEC, IPAC National and the general public.
Please be guided accordingly.
