Lagos LG Polls prove Nigeria youths are not serious for any politics

“Change starts from the grassroots and not from social media or from all those Fancy talkers at the motor parks of Lagos, Aba and the fake wanna-be politicians of Abuja

Before the Local government election in Lagos, my fear was that Lagos Youths will use their population strength to stage surprises in various LGs and LCDAs to show displeasure in the party that has been receiving all the motor parks curses and social media angst

I went out to register my anger with my vote only to find empty polling units, deserted and avoided like Covid19 Disease sharing polls. Almost entire polling votes deserted with some recording as low as 10 votes despite all the mega population of Lagos and its angry social media critics and motor park news analysts

Among the entire 20 Local Government and the 37 LCDA’S in Lagos, none of them recorded a total votes of 10,000 except perhaps according to the spy videos going viral online as usual, where hired women were busy thump printing for APC – the favourite Party, loved by the beneficiaries and hated only in words by those outside the circle of ‘sharing formular”

“Abia State will be another classic example of state to watch in the next election, Abia State is already trailing behind in the number of registered voters as the Ongoing INEC Voter registration Online then tomorrow when one dumb fellow is selected and appointed to answer governor and turn entire Abia state to garbage dump you will bombard the social media speaking one useless English

Then I begin to wonder, are these Nigerians serious at all? This is how they were crying and lamenting about hardship during Alhaji Mohammed Buhari first term in office as President of Nigeria when all of a sudden, the excitement of “Sai Baba” soon turned into a dirge, in Abuja some Onions seller almost lynched a man at Area 1 for daring to shout “Sai Baba!” to their face. Then came 2015 when they had all the opportunities to turn the table, “Sai Baba” emerged again even with the young people more vicious, I remembered interviewing some in Agege area and along Ikeja by the rail line and in excitement they all chorused; “Every day we go to Mama place, and get 1 plate of Jollof rice and N1,000 naira, Ah Baba don win now!!

As it is in Lagos, so it is in Abia State, so it is across Nigeria – People have found a pastime talking trash about elected or selected political office holders and when the opportunity arrives for you to go and vote him out and vote the person you consider a better option, you will sit back and continue to whine like one spoilt Lagos ‘School boy’ that will always cry before going to school in his ‘one kind’ school uniform unless his mother buys him ‘Puff puff,’

All the Social Media influencers, bloggers and angry online warriors always angry at one Alhaji Ahmed Tinubu of Lagos who wants to become a president of Nigeria, No, I think the current one is going to hand over to him, without election, Alhaji Buhari will just hand over to Alhaji Tinubu and Nigerians will be happier ever after! No election!

All those online warriors, public speakers and celebrities that has actually swelled the bank account of ZOOM disturbing us everyday about one electoral reform and all kinds of Political seminars online. None of them could organize ordinary 5,000 voters in my area to make them vote out those criminal elements they refer to as Local Government Chairman. None! You cannot mobilize just 5,000 voters to elect a Local Government Chairman of their choice or 1000 market women to vote out that thief you call Councilor just to send a powerful signal to the Political Class that the youth actually mean Business of Change when they say No More idiots in political office representing greedy godfathers.

Nigeria youths rally

“We can try and rationalize the voter apathy in Lagos in this just concluded LG Polls in Lagos and Ogun state with very good English in the dictionary.
But I wonder what happened to all the Hypothetical Political Platforms that were formed online with some face painting women behind the scene shouting ‘Change must take place’

In my observation, I think the Nigeria youth are not ready to stand up for anything because I doubt if they believe in anything at all other than Big Brother Naija where you can hit millions for just idling and jive talking, Bet Naija where you can win millions for just walking into one wretched shop and stake a bet and the Music of ill clad young girls shaking their ugly bum at your face.
If you ask me, I think the suffer never reach bone. The Nigeria youth deserve more neglect and suffering!

Abia State will be another classic example of state to watch in the next election, Abia State is already trailing behind in the number of registered voters as the Ongoing INEC Voter registration Online then tomorrow when one dumb fellow is selected and appointed to answer governor and turn entire Abia state to garbage dump you will bombard the social media speaking one useless English giving empty political analysis

Where are the emergency Change-Makers that want to turned Nigeria to America with their too much English speaking – Ordinary go and vote you all declined, participate in political activities, you will be shouting ‘Blood of Moses’ then you want a Changed Nigeria!

I am now convinced both Alhaji Tinubu and Alhaji Buhari the President and President in waiting come 2023 knows their Nigeria too well. Hunger and suffering, ignorance and sheer foolishness have mesmerized the young people so much that all they can see at any time is their stomach and when they dare look out, the next thing they see is breast and ‘Nyash’ of loose young women – I mean majority of Nigerian youth, Big Brother Naija can bear me witness!

Change starts from the grassroots and not from social media or from all those Fancy talkers at the motor parks of Lagos, Aba and the fake wanna-be politicians of Abuja

Nigeria youth get up and get serious, the future is so bleak!!
