Speaking after the flag off of ‘Operation Crush’ in Umuahia, a joint task force with membership drawn from various security formations mandated to swiftly carry out strong and coordinated response to the lingering challenge of insecurity in parts of the state
Comrade Njoku Jerry Ajike said; “Every development you see going on in Abia state today is happening with speed because the leadership of our party ably led by Dr. Alex Otti, the Executive Governor of Abia State came prepared and is committed to the cause of the rebuilding process that we have promised the people of Abia State.”
Like Dr. Alex Otti said, “We are in a hurry to actualise the promises that brought us to power” and as we march to honor our 100 days in office, I want Abians to look back and be very glad they made no mistake in electing us to rescue this state from the hands of vultures and criminals parading as political rulers.
“As you can see with the ongoing road reconstructions in Aba and environs, the improved waste management systems, the restoration and revival of our health sectors and most importantly the regularization of salary payments that was such an albatross of fraud stealing from the state.”
“As the image maker of the party, I am very much aware of the high expectations on us to deliver and bring to reality the help we promised Abians that it is ‘Here at last!’
Our governor and leader of the party, Dr. Alex Otti is not only prepared but committed to the cause of Rebuilding this great center of industry and trade from the ruins and mess we met on ground and this is not a cheap task for an average Nigerian politician or technocrat.”

Abia is larger than Lagos by landmass while Lagos boast of a population of over 20 million congested city, the city of Aba alone boast of over 3 Million residents that can match Lagos in revenue generation.
The difference between Lagos and Aba is not far-fetched; one is a coastal city and a trade hub by virtue of regular arrival of vessels bringing commodities of all sorts to the port. Aba is a manufacturer base saturated with small and medium sized entrepreneurs, with artisans, skilled and unskilled, merchants and industrialists providing virtually everything you can purchase at the markets in Lagos that are all made here in the city of Aba but for over 24 years, individuals parading as political rulers sat over the government and leadership of Abia State and subtly watched these great attributes of the state collapse until Abia was brought down to its knees begging for virtually everything even as little as wages for services rendered.
Therefore reading stories of media calumny and cheap propaganda accusing the LP led administration of Alex Otti of high handedness on social media is nothing less than the work of those disgruntled rogue elements and individuals ignorant of the terrible damages that was unleashed on the state by those vultures that has been kicked out forever and never will be returned.
They could be forgiven for the simple fact that many were misled into an amoral cultural practice of fraud and abuse of public trust codenamed “It is our turn to chop” – and people did “chopped” until they “chopped off” their own heads and were going about butt-naked and headless without them knowing.
Nevertheless, we will not hold it against them as the LP led government of Alex Otti remains focused on the tenets of Labour and that is; workers welfare and development of the society that harbours the workers and nobody or region will be left out in this great task of rebuilding ahead.
