The Leadership of Labour Party, Abia State on behalf of the State Chairman, Hon. Ceekay Igara send special greetings to every residents of Abia State most especially the 24 elected members of the Abia State House of Assembly for its wonderful cooperation in the conduct of the Swearing in of the leadership and members of the 8th Assembly.
The Hon. Speaker, Mr. Emmanuel Emeruwa and His Deputy, Austin Okezie Meregin,(Ugolee) had emerged as leaders of the 8th Assembly unopposed due to their track record of exemplary Leadership antecedents proven by their past records in their respective Constituencies as men committed to the welfare of the people and the development of their communities.
This is what they have brought to board in support of God’s Messenger for the total liberation of Abia State and its people, His Excellency Dr Alex Otti and His energetic Deputy HIS Excellency Engr Ikechukwu Emetu
As a party that is focused on the welfare of the people and their environmental condition, We seize this opportunity to encourage every Abians to join hands with the leadership of the 8th Assembly and the party to work for the progress, peace and fast development of the state in every honest way you deem possible
Abia State and its people had suffered so much neglect, underdevelopment, disrespect and ridicule in the hands of former political office holders and do not deserve further punishment either by proxy or by error, or by deliberate attempt by anyone playing politics with the lives and welfare of the Hardworking people of God’s own State.
Every Abia State residents should embrace Labour Party as the choice of the political and social liberation of the state to its place of honour, pride and glory.
Our Governor, His Excellency Dr Alex Otti is passionately committed to this cause, to see Abia people smile, live a fulfilled life of peace and prosperity and take pride in their State.

To the Oppositions, we appreciate your concerns and encourage you to play the watchdog with wisdom and decorum that will project Abia as a model State where every residents irrespective of their political party affiliation is committed to the cause of nation building, responsibility to the people and excellence in governance.
