It’s a herculean job defending APC as a Party

By Iro Igwe (ED)

“Who are those still calling and celebrating APC, Buhari and his government? There are those benefitting from the party and Buhari, those who don’t know what the masses are going through, those who receive budgetary expenditures from the federation account and still receive bogus salaries, those who are always flying outside the country every week and collecting estacode allowances, those whose children are schooling abroad”

I don’t know why people are still excited about APC as a party. From east to west, north to south, APC brought to this country nothing but anguish and distress. People still talking about APC are still leaving in their dreamworld.  APC is a party of utter destruction, top to bottom, hunger, killings, thuggery, pains, casualties, calamities, lack of trust, lack of political will power, lack of political liberty, tribalism, nepotism, exclusion, wastage and many more.

APC came to power in 2015 with propaganda and propaganda has remained with her from then until today. There’s nothing good that the masses of these country has benefited from APC and the makeup of the party. Nigeria has been reduced to nothingness under APC government. It’s on record that between January and June 2022 (6 months) over 6,000 Nigerians have left the country to overseas in search of greener pastures and over N600 billion spend on foreign school fees. Nigeria is at her lowest level in her history as an independent country. Many, both APC, PDP members and none party members of the public, have confirmed that there has been no other time in our history that Nigeria has collapsed as today, even during the civil war period. Honesty, APC isn’t suppose to be existing in the country today. APC came saw and conquered Nigeria and Nigerians and throw us into the dustbin of poverty, low life, regrets, divorces, deaths, kidnapping, abductions and many more negativities.

“APC is not supposed to present candidates for the forthcoming election, We mustn’t make the mistake of bringing APC back to power at the centre”

Every day, indices coming out from the office of National Bureau of statistics are negative under APC government. Nigeria has suffered two levels of recessions within 5 years of APC government. The first country in the world to accomplish this feat. Under APC this government, Nigeria became the poverty capital of the world, under APC, Nigeria is rated the 2nd most terrorised country in the whole world. Even Afghanistan is safer than Nigeria today. Under APC government, the economy of the country has been grounded, our currency has been basterdized.

The currency under APC government is like waste paper. Dollar is traded at N710.00 from N198 the government met it in 2015. Nigeria spends over N6 trillion on subsidies, we can’t service our debts stock, which is at over US$39.69 billion. Our trench hold of borrowing money is almost exhausted. Our refineries can’t refine a litre of fuel, diesel is selling for N850 per litre from N80.00 in 2015. Fuel is dispensed at between N170 to N200 from N87.00 in 2015. Inflation today is 19.6% from 8.7% in 2015.

APC came to power in 2015 with propaganda and propaganda has remained with her from then until today. There’s nothing good that the masses of these country has benefited from APC and the makeup of the party.

Who are those still calling and celebrating APC, Buhari and his government? There are those benefitting from the party and Buhari, those who don’t know what the masses are going through, those who receive budgetary expenditures from the federation account and still receive bogus salaries, those who are always flying outside the country every week and collecting estacode allowances, those whose children are schooling abroad while the children of the downtrodden are wallowing under the 7 months ASUU strike, a 4 year course now takes 6 to 7 years to graduate due to incessant strikes by university lecturers. What a hell of a country? There was a country (Chinua Achebe)

The party members will defend by blaming PDP who ruled Nigeria for 16 years and left office in 2015, 7 years after, they still blame PDP. The supporters of APC and Buhari will defend by saying that the party has built the 2nd Niger Bridge for the south east as if my family eats from there. What else would they bring to the table? Nothing, only singing praises without anything to show for it.

Every day, indices coming out from the office of National Bureau of statistics are negative under APC government. Nigeria has suffered two levels of recessions within 5 years of APC government.

Well, Goodluck to supporters of APC. Honestly, APC isn’t supposed to present candidates for the forthcoming election. Goodluck to those who still embrace and vote for them. We must shine our eyes this time. We mustn’t make the mistake of bringing APC back to power at the centre. If we know where we are today and where we were 7 years ago, Nigerians will shine their eyes when choosing our leaders in 2023.
