I was talking a walk in my neighbourhood when I sighted these young girls say in their 7 or about 8 years. Something striking happened, both girls were sizing up each other’s bum as they struggle to do what they call ‘twerking’ as they watched it in the television.
Flat chest young girls just trying to grow up but displaying a force that they wish could make their bum grow round and jelly-shaking like the ones they had watched on the television or seen another young woman did at a party.
What was disturbing in the scene is the manner they push the tiny ‘ass’ backward and thrust it frontwards with their hands on the knees as they dance to a faint sound of music from a nearby tailor’s shop.
These were young girls of 7 and 8 years in the neighbourhood sizing up their ‘ass’ and ‘twerking’ furiously.
In all honesty, I still can’t wrap my mind around this “twerking” thing.
Last place I had seen real time “twerking’ was in the clubs, then coming to Nigeria, I seen it’s really a common sight even in some Embassy youth churches, I have seen ‘twerking’ added up to the ‘shaku shaku’ ghost dance steps at altars during praise jams.
I wish somebody reading this will tell all these young innocent girls, shaking your ass is not a dance, it is not sexy either, rather it evokes a sensual feeling in the observer of those jelly shaking ass to do what they naturally would not want to do unless under some influence which is always – negative. More so, I cannot understand how a woman expects to be taken seriously after she gets up on stage, and shakes her ass like a sex object, like a cheap slut, in front of strangers, who even, at times put the camera on her ass as she is shaking it vigorously.
I pray somebody tell these young women this is absurd and an invitation to loose living promoting an amoral lifestyle.
Do not bother to begin to sing those feminism jargons “Don’t tell me what to do”, or “we can do whatever we want, its’ women power!”,Most women singing this slogan always end up in silent misery and self-inflicted emotional torture but they never will tell you.

They will abandon you to your miserable life. At that time not the money in the whole world and those material plastic life you come to exhibit on facebook and instalgram can bring the life you have
