The beginning of the Oshiomole dynasty in Edo State

By Oseghale Okoh

Adams Oshiomole’s son nominated as Commissioner in APC controlled government of Edo State under Governor-elect Monday Okpebholo

What Adams Oshiomole could not achieve in Pastor Ize Iyamu, one time gubernatorial candidate and political godson he attempted to foist over the people of Edo, he has achieved through his biological son, projecting his long term ambition to produce a governor under his strings in years to come in Edo Politics.
Dr. Cyril Oshiomole, the son of Senator Oshiomhole, began his education at St. Anne’s Primary School and continued at Command Secondary School.

He later attended Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS).

Cyril furthered his studies at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orleans, LA, earning a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) with a focus on Environmental Health, Toxicology, and Disaster Management.

He, however, continued postgraduate training in Clinical Research at Harvard University in Boston and pursued studies in Gastroenterology at Queen Mary University in London.

This nomination of Oshiomhol’s son although subject to confirmation by the Edo State House of Assembly is already a walk over rewards for his father’s role in APC politics in Edo State
