Nonso Muoemenam gallantly bowed out of the battle at RAAN Borno State in an encounter against ISWAP. According to reports, he was sabotaged by repentant Boko Haram who removed the firing pin underbelly battery to his Armoured Car. Getting disappointed as an ISWAP Commander and his men closed up on him, he had no option than to detonate his grenade which killed him and the enemies.
He is younger brother to Hon. Emeka Muoemenam, Secretary General, Ogidi Town Union.

Unknown to him , his machine had been tampered with, he tried to start his machine, it didn’t answer, tried to fire , the firing pin and underbelly battery had been removed, The handiwork of “repentant bokoharam” in their midst.
When the terrorist commander leading the attack and his boys tried to capture him alive, he chose to blow up everyone with his last man grenade.
