With the victory of Labour Party and Governor Alex Otti affirmed by the Judiciary and the people of Abia State on the 6th October 2023, a new Abia is set.
Governor Otti introduced the concept of a new Abia of people oriented governance and conscientious leadership and he set out modalities to achieve that under the platform of Labour Party, Nigeria.
On this note, on behalf of our great party, the people’s party, Labour party, Abia,
I want to congratulate the people of Abia State and everyone who have taken part in this historic journey of the rebuilding process of the new Abia of our dreams. There is no better sacrifice than the commitment to build homeland for the peace and prosperity of all.

As the world and Nigeria shifts attention to God’s own state, Abia, it automatically becomes the responsibility of every indigenes and residents of Abia to support the great efforts of the Alex Otti led Labour Party government as we take the lead in the actualization of the dream of people of the South East region and most importantly Nigeria to develop and attract desired investment from the International community into our natural resources and human capital,
I am writing as a Stakeholder in the government of the new Abia to thank the people and residents of the state for their firm belief in the leadership of Labour party and Governor Alex Otti whom have resolved to rebuild Abia into a model of economic and industrial hub the people of the South East had yearned for over the decades.
Apart from the recent ground breaking ceremony of the Abia state Industrial Innovation Park (AIIP) sited in the Oil Community of Ukwa land, There are other land mark projects in the pipeline including the expansion of economic presence to the peaceful community of Ohafia to host the Ohafia Industrial Park and Commercial Farm projects, that is designed to provide agricultural services to 7 border states and exports to neighboring West Africa regions, there are prospective New Economic Towns and Residential development projects in the list, and the resuscitation of moribund manufacturing outfits that were abandoned to deteriorate in the 24 years of the previous failed administrations and most importantly, is the revisit of the abandoned Enyimba Economic City, (ECC) an ambitious project that was heavily advertised on the social media and never implemented. There are ongoing road reconstruction activities virtually across every region of the state including the return to site of the long abandoned Aba-Port Harcourt Road.
And for those who have found pastime in caustic criticisms of the Alex Otti led Labour Party government, I would suggest you rather submit yourselves to a soul searching rather than resort to media calumny, blackmail and sheer propaganda of ignorance, nurtured by greed.
As much as we welcome criticism from every residents in the state, I will consider it quite sublime and an honor for you to engage the Alex Otti government with the sole interest to see our collective dreams of a New Abia fulfilled,
As a people oriented government, the Alex Otti led Labour Party do not and will not descend to media government of propaganda or go on social media to create sensational headlines of what it won’t do.
Therefore let your social media activities be moderated with decorum and respect, most especially as the People’s governor Dr. Alex Otti has offered the Olive branch to all and sundry, sheath your anger, misplaced grudges and hate. The world is watching and coming to us this time, here in Abia State.
More so, irrespective of political party affiliations, the Labour Party government is open to all the hard working people of Abia State, especially the business people and civil servants, who yearns for better days in their welfare and economic situation,
Therefore, let’s join hands to welcome Nigeria and the World to a new Abia of hospitality, peace and home of Commerce and Industry
