If you live your life carefully, a lot of things will be deleted from your prayer list

To hear from God, is to follow the scriptures as it is written in the bible and not to hear strange voices out of the context of the bible otherwise you may begin to hear from your emotions and refer it to the Holy spirit.
The word of God as it is written in the bible will teach you to be sensitive and prepared ahead in life
The believer is not designed to live his life by miracles, there are principles already designed by God for you to follow and abide and if you follow that principles as designed by God, miracles will happen by default.
Miracle is emergency intervention, no government runs the country by emergency, there are rules and steps to follow to enjoy a healthy nation and once you miss that pattern you will be running around for miracles
I lived in a very quiet neighborhood in a corner of the city of Umuahia and on a certain night, a neighbor woke up in the quietness of the night to pray, in the course of the prayer I heard a loud shout then it transcends to a scream then a shrieking scream, the neighbor was calling out fire to burn out some Ancestors and enemies, he was calling out back to sender, fire burn the ancestors and so many things he kept screaming all through the midnight. Good enough that was a 1 Night prayer of fright as sleep fled from the eyes of many whom thought the neighbor was under a spell.
Then by the street is another make shift church led by a female pastor. For whatsoever reasons, she had the speakers faced the street in this quiet neighborhood and from Sunday to Friday, morning to night she kept screaming into the microphone about fires that should burn the ancestors that did not want you to prosper, the witches that did not want you to become rich and enjoy life and all that.
Then I begin to wonder what kind of people will engage all their time praying against their ancestors, praying against witches and praying against poverty and God almighty appears not to have delivered the answers either by a miracle or by favours.
In my quiet time I found out that the Almighty God has set out principles and rules of engagement on earth and he laid it out in the book of Proverbs and the Psalms using the ants, the rock badgers, the spiders, those feeble animals to analyze the simple tenets of engagement in life.
The Book of Jeremiah teaches against unscrupulous riches, the teacher in the book of Ecclesiastes teaches us about hardwork and grace and down to the time of Jesus the Christ.
Miracles do not happen by accident, miracles occur when time meet opportunity and it may take years. God almighty will certainly intervene if you hold on faith and trust.
There is no short cut, not by shouting at the top of your voices while you failed to abide by the simple principles of character and attitude.
Take for instance those supporting all the illegalities and criminality that took place at the just concluded Nigeria presidential election, some of them are religious praying people and in every matter they call the Almighty God.
Calling upon the Almighty God to do what? To bless their criminality or perversion or to join in their falsehood
Prayers without character and conscience, religion with an attitude devoid of compassion and conscience for the simple rules of life on earth is certainly a shout at the rooftop to distract the neighbours and deceive nobody but yourself.
