As Nigerians across the country warm up for Saturday 11th March gubernatorial and state house elections, Labour Party (LP) appeared to be leaving no stone unturned with about 70% wins across the country at the recent concluded National Assembly elections.
Speaking to the Publicity Secretary of Labour Party in Abia State, Mr. Njoku Jerry Ajike, in Umuahia he said; “Alex Otti smacks off an idea whose time has come as residents of Abia state prepare for Saturdays 11th Governorship election, a day Abians has vowed to uproot PDP and chase anything relating to APC out of the South Eastern region.”
We have worked very hard to achieve this feat as a party and as individuals passionate with the yearnings of our leader Dr. Alex Otti to rebuild this collapsed region once famed as South East Industrial Hub”

We want to revive that culture of industry and social welfare responsibilities for our people.
Our government has the sole focus of creating wealth for the people of Abia state and building industry that support that wealth for an all round development, therefore I am not surprised that we are winning because we have what the people of Abia has been deprived of for over 2 decades therefore we are certain of an overall victory pm the 11th March 2023, said Mr. Njoku

“Today, in Abia, two Goliaths have been brought down. I can assure you that more Goliaths will still be brought down, Get ready for the 11th of March This is the day we will seal everything said Dr. Alex Otti as he celebrate the duo of Darlington Nwokocha and Ginger Onwusibe

Celebrating the victory of the recent concluded 2023 National Assembly election for the House of Representative and Senatorial seats, Labour Party in Abia State, under the leadership of Alex Otti, LP has swept six Federal Constituency seats out of eight and one out of three senatorial seats.

“This is the will of the people” said Alex Otti, the leader of the party in Abia State as he celebrate with the duo of Mr. Darlington Nwokocha, Ginger Onwusibe and Obi Aguocha and others, who uprooted the scion of the T.A Orji from its grip on Abia State government and the seating governor Okezie Ikpeazu.

“Today, in Abia, two Goliaths have been brought down. I can assure you that more Goliaths will still be brought down. At the last count, I believe that we have six out of the eight House of Reps seats and that calls for celebration,” a highly elated Otti remarked.

The two Goliaths brought down may be a reference to the out-going governor of Abia, Okezie Ikpeazu and the out-going Speaker of the state assembly, Hon Chinedum Orji, son of former governor Theodore Orji, both of whom lost their elections to the Senate and House of Reps, respectively.

Otti told Nwokocha and Onwusibe that their victories were deserving, commending them for working very hard in their campaigns. He said he was not surprised, adding that the duo earned it.

However, he admonished them not to take for granted the confidence reposed in them by their constituents as, according to him, power has now returned to the people.

Otti called on the victorious candidates to gear up as the party prepares for the governorship election. This is the day we will seal everything. If we worked hard last Saturday, I’ll like us to know that we will need to work five times as hard.”

Speaking earlier during their visit with a large crowd of ecstatic supporters, Nwokocha and Onwusibe thanked Otti for his support and for being the leading light of Abia renaissance.

“We have come to our Leader to tell you that we are back and that we have counted all the soldiers and there is none missing,” Onwusibe said as he paid obeisance to Otti.
