Uncertainty hits Abia politicians as Labour Party remain resolute to take back the State for the people

By Eric Mba

“Abia State will be taken back by the people because it belongs to the people and Labour Party is the People’s Party and not those few circles of elites destroying everything in the state and bringing shame to everyone” – Njoku SaintJerry A.

As wave of manipulations and withdrawals in the ongoing primaries continue to send many politicians crashing to the canvass with some collapsing outrightly, some demanding for bribe money given to the delegates back by every means, others yet to participate in any primary election are enjoying the privilege of abilities to read from their crystal balls to see clearly the reality of a complete paradigm shift from what Nigeria electoral activities used to look like.

Your money won’t save you this time, delegates will collect your money, praise you to high heavens, yet they will go ahead to vote you out and most worrisome according to the new electoral law as amended is; if you participate in any Primary election and lose, your loss will seal your fate until another electoral season, you cannot switch your loss into a victory in another party thereby making your case even more complicated and exposing you to the ridicule of those who have perhaps made promises to you as governor’s ‘anointed’ son or woman and those trumped up acclaim of ‘people’s choice.’
Fact is; the 2023 Nigeria general election is going to be decisive and the people’s choice sacrosanct, not even the governor, the financiers or selected party stakeholders can influence the decision of the people, once you are found wanting by any means necessary, you will be kicked out.

“What you see happening in all the political parties across the divides is the wishes of the people. The people are tired of deception and failed promises by the political elites”

With the likes of Dr. Alex Otti, Senator Enyinnanya Abaribe and many others aspirants in Abia state, pulling out of their party half way into the Primaries without making public their next move, it is obvious they will have to shop for another credible Political platform to pursue their ambitions. It is rumored that of all the existing political parties fielding aspirants in Abia state, Labour Party remains unscathed either as a result of not fielding any aspirant or as a result of other internal factors not made public, however in a statement issued by the State Publicity Secretary, Comrade Njoku SaintJerry A. at the end of the State congress in Umuahia, he said;

“What you see happening in all the political parties across the divides is the wishes of the people. The people are tired of deception and failed promises by the political elites and opportunists who have been continually foisted on the ordinary people, yet, despite such divine privileges they still abuse it by depriving the people basic means of survival both in terms of infrastructure and human development capacity.” “This is the end of the ‘Chop I chop’ Nigeria political system. It is an era determined by the people. Said Mr. Njoku
“Here in Abia state, he continued; The People’s Choice is Labour Party, this is the more reason why we have not been in the news for all those negative developments, be it political manipulations, trickery and deception or any manner of decamping because the people’s choice reign supreme in Labour Party.”

“This is the Workers’ Party and when I say ‘workers’ I mean the traders, the motor park workers, the civil servants, skilled and unskilled artisans and the students, Labour Party is their party, therefore, it will behoove any wise politician or those nursing the ambition to take leadership challenges to join forces with Labour party and most especially now that coast is clear for Labour Party in Abia state.”

In Labour party, Abia state chapter, there is no money to share to anybody, the people’s will reign supreme, so anybody coming here to declare his intention to serve the people and remodel Abia state to its economic and social honor will be determined to do so and not under the influence of any political godfather or under the inducement of financial gains by either the delegate or any other party stakeholders.”
“Labour Party is open to all while the primaries last and still open to the ordinary people of Abia state who controls the engine wheel of this state” said Mr. Njoku

“The people who controls the engine of economic drive in Abia State, it might interest you to know are the same people the ruling party has taken for a ride all these years in Abia state, they do not pay them their salaries when due, they abandon major roads and other infrastructure amenities that should aid the ease of doing business and bring more success to the people and their communities, they abandon everything and continue to play this politics of patronage in the name of ruling party.”

This is what the ordinary people of Abia state has risen up against in the coming electoral year and they say “Never again.”
“There are about 4 separate pressure groups both religious and political commanding about 4 million of Abia state electorates whom have aligned with Labour party, you do not need to ask me who are they, at the right time, it will be made public, because this is the Workers’ Party and when I say ‘workers’ I mean the traders, the motor park workers, the civil servants, skilled and unskilled artisans and the students, Labour Party is their party, therefore, it will behoove any wise politician or those nursing the ambition to take leadership challenges to join forces with Labour party and most especially now that coast is clear for Labour Party in Abia state.” Said Mr. Njoku

Njoku SaintJerry A in his final statement declared; “Abia State will be taken back by the people because it belongs to the people and Labour Party is the People’s Party and not those few circles of elites destroying everything in the state and bringing shame to everyone,”
I welcome you to victory as we march to government house. Said Mr. Njoku
