Ondo State, Akoko South-West Constituency 1, will have a new breed of quality representative for the people and their communities as former Diaspora Nigeria Community leader both in China and the United States of America heed to the clarion call to come home and establish the kind of leadership quality found overseas where he had sojourn as a businessman, service man in the US Army and diaspora community leader.
In his Open remark during a courtesy call on the leaders of divers youth group in the community, Hon. Gbogi made it clear that the people of Akoko South-West Constituency 1 deserves the best at all facets of life and not to be taken for granted for their humility and generosity to a political class whom should know better than mock the ordinary people with bits and pieces despite the huge and regular constituency allocation that has been apportioned to better the lives of the people and their communities.
“God has blessed me immensely and granted me fulfilment both in career and in business, however I am pained and deeply concerned at the plight of people in my community especially several of them within the Akoko South-West Constituency 1, which is my primary place of assignment as a thorough home bred and son of Iwaro Oka, both the young and old deserve a better life and mutual respect from people in the political class who have taken the business of leadership as a trade in income rather than service to the people and our homeland.”
“Our governor has been doing the best for this state and the best any man or woman in position of leadership can do is to support the great works of Arakunrin Akeredolu in Ondo state to show evidence that he meant well for the people and not to use positions of authority as a tool to acquire unaccountable wealth and build a circle of dependents whom are used to achieve negative purposes in the community.”
I was appalled at someone raising such unfortunate incidence that left him traumatized for years as a tool of blackmail or to tarnish his honorable intentions to serve his community – that is the height of wickedness and this tell you the kind of politicians that Nigeria has been suffering
Re; The Campaign of Calumny
Responding to a campaign of calumny published by a certain group named Oka United Front, Gbogi advised that those who have no skeleton in their cupboard fears no threats nor false accusation as no amount of blackmail can stop the sun from shining.

On the matter of name calling as ex-convict, jail bird etc. to put the matter clear. A Nigerian lady (name withheld) was offered assistance through the request of her husband whom Gbogi had met in Nigeria. The said Lady arrived the United States and according to pleas by her husband for help, Gbogi offered them accommodation in his huge mansion in the states, unknown to him, whenever he goes to work, the lady and her husband will be engaged in criminal activities online, hacking innocent service men accounts and using the home address of the man whom has sincerely offered them a free accommodation to register and open several phony accounts. This incidence happened for years until the activities of both couples raised an eyebrow in the US Security and the culprit was traced to the said home address. This mark the beginning of the sufferings of an innocent man whom had merely offered help and support to a homeless Nigerian woman in the US not knowing that she is acting as a mole and a inhouse rat for the criminal minded husband living large in Lagos.
By the time Gbogi Emmanuel will walk free from false accusation, implication of criminal intent by fellow Nigerian he had offered help free of charge, his image and character has been badly affected.
However, despite all that name calling and callousness of people whom have been recipients of the blessings of God on Hon. Gbogi Emmanuel he has not seized to commit to the cause of humanity.
In a telephone interview with the Honorable Jeremiah Ajike, Youth & Peace Ambassador, State of African Diaspora and former Community Leader to the Nigeria Community in China. – “I have known Gbogi Emmanuel for the past 10 years, when he was living here in China, the records are there of what he did for the Nigerians in the Province where he served as a Teacher, therefore when I read in the news of that allegation of crime in the United States, I went all corners to defend the matter and I am glad my efforts yielded fruit, the said culprits in the matter of the US criminal allegations were all arrested by the FBI and sentenced adequately and I was very grateful to God for that and I encouraged Mr. Gbogi Emmanuel to use this experience as a hard lesson for life.

This is the reason why we in the Diaspora strongly gave him our support and many like him who are willing and desirous of constructive changes in Nigeria and in their communities, we encourage them to go home and join Politics and help alleviate the suffering of the people in Nigeria.
I have visited Akoko South-West and Iwaro Oka respectively and I know they have had a political representative who I learned is sponsoring such campaign of calumny, I would advise that such energy should be spent in putting up a constructive challenge like showing evidence of how their number of years in politics has affected the people in Akoko South-West Constituency 1 positively.
Taking pride in promoting your native dialect as a member of your State House of Assembly, donating covid19 palliatives, sponsoring football matches are all good but my brother, we all know these has no direct impact on the welfare of the community but for a certain class of dependents whose life are not any better and can never be as long their relevance is only for political tools of campaign, these are mere benevolence any honorable citizen or indigene of the community can do and not for a law maker to take pride in these kind of offers despite the votes of the ordinary people he is enjoying at all times – this is wickedness and I am believing that as a Diaspora leader who have seen it all both in business, development and quality lifestyles, Gbogi Emmanuel will do much more for his people if God and the people of Akoko South-West help him and he succeed.
