Ohafia South State House of Assembly candidate of the All-Progressives Congress, (APC) Chief Dike Okoro Uche, Investor, business man and pioneer hotelier in Ohafia in Abia State, has charged politicians to invest more on youths for the betterment of society rather than giving them peanut in the name of empowerment and building of inferior and abandoned projects under the guise of constituency project.
Chief Dike who is also the Chairman, De Trump Hotels, Ohafia and CEO of Wealth Partners Ltd, gave the charge during his regular ward visitation across the 26 Villages that made up Ohafia South State Constituency. Speaking against the abysmal neglect of the primary welfare of people in Ohafia South and provision of basic quality infrastructure, some which are abandoned after much fanfare despite the provision of adequate budgetary allocation for the region. Chief Dike Okoro also known as ‘De Trump’ vowed to provide Ohafia South with quality and exemplary leadership that will be void of sentiments and deceit.
Chief Dike Okoro explained that he has toured entire 26 villages that made up the Ohafia South State constituency on several occasion and understands deeply what is the problem bedeviling the communities including healthcare, education and most importantly quality infrastructures like electricity and networking roads which can be properly addressed by legal representations at the state law making body where issues concerning Ohafia South will be adequately treated as constitutional responsibility rather than a display of charity for what the people are entitled to by law.

When you invest in the people or execute quality projects for the community, the benefits would be certainly endearing even after your tenure in government is over, more so, you engage the young people in the community where they can develop their talents for an all-round development.

“I decided on my own volition to join the politics of our home state to initiate a quality representation of our people in government far remote from the ridicule that other individuals have subjected this communities to over the years, some of the communities in Ohafia South are going extinct if we continue to abandon them over jamboree projects that do not bring any quality development upon the people and their communities – this is what I have resolved to change once elected into office.

One thing gives me joy in this exercise and that is the confidence our people have bestowed on me since we began this race and I believe in them also come 2023 entire Ohafia South will start having breakthrough development through realistic employment opportunity, improvement in education, our agriculture, quality infrastructure, youth empowerment and most importantly, proper representation in government.
For us to move forward in Ohafia and in Abia State, all hands must be on deck, everyone must contribute his own quota.”
