I was born barely three years before the Nigerian Independence. I have lived in Nigeria till today. I know the past and the present Nigeria. I have studied the country. I traveled round the country. On the whole today’s Nigeria is not the way I saw the nation. It is quite terrible now. People like me will bear witness. That’s why I write to expose the problems with Nigeria now.
The Spirit of God inside me reveals a lot. The X-rays are proving that Nigeria is stagnant and helpless in the net of huge incomes from robust political positions.
Running the affairs of government in Nigeria has become very costly. The authorities fix their own income. They make laws. They are the laws. The laws obey them. The finances belong to them. The nation is under them. They ride freely on her back. Nobody has the right to query them. That’s why most of them in leadership want to be there for ever if possible. That’s the greatest undoing of the country. The economy died.
Utmost luxury and comfort is the first or foremost choice the leaders make. Expensive living is also a priority. The resources of the country are under their absolute control.
The country bears the cost while the masses in turn bear the brunt, no matter how expensive the markets become under the pains in it.
The lords do not mellow down to allow the country a breathing space because of politics, position of power, income, authority, control and advantage that killed the nation’s economy overtime.
It is rallying round the dead economy, with strangulating chains tightened to the neck of the suffering populace.
We have got a very crucial time now in Nigeria. Every thought should be focused mostly on the security and safety of all Nigerians. Let not everything be political.
We will continue to write. Those who care to read can do so. Those that don’t care to read let it be. Now everywhere is with the heat of politics, position, power, authority to exercise control.
Nigeria is living on borrowed leaves of foreign assistance from the lending clubs. We play politics with it. Politics tills the deceased economic farmland; just seeking help perhaps raise it from death.
If Nigerians really know the damages we incur, they will weep over the leaders who are bragging about importing foreign invaders being called investors, to assist and raise the nation’s dead economy.
Having worked with some foreign investors I secretly discovered that they were all invaders. The diplomatic policies on every imported assistance imposes 100% profits, plowed back home to the main contracted nations.
Most of the greedy Nigerian political leaders, with those who reigned in the military regimes knew about it. But for their own benefits they agree and conspire to milk the country’s economy dry.
This is just where the whole troubles of Nigeria are really based. The political position we occupy, the huge income thereof, the advantages and the powers being executed in lording it over everything and the masses, combined together to the problems.
These are the main reasons why anyone who enters the political successful society cannot leave, while some other ones want to be there also to get the opportunity.
The basic commonsense in building a productive nation and grow patriotic citizenry has been scarce in Nigeria.
If Nigerians in power had acquired patriotic discipline together with the citizens, all the invaders won’t import or come into Nigeria and invest emptiness and horror, which we are all witnessing today.
While we brag about with the unproductive level of ordinary classroom Western education and qualifications acquired, the stark naked illiteracy in it devours the commonsense, that should be utilized to build a strong nation with rich economy.

We know that amongst them that wear the apparels of big names are sane, who could be productive but rendered inactive because of politics.
But still how many foreign leaders that are creative, innovative and productive with high level of academic qualifications attach big and long chains of titles, to their own names like we classify it arrogantly here in Nigeria?
A local adage says that a big name kills the small dog. Another prominent adage also says that pride goes before fall. Biblically it is said that anybody that is proud will be debased. The arrogant habits have debased Nigeria in almost everything about humility.
We are now faced with all manner of misdemeanors, debasement, hostilities and criminal dangers in Nigeria.
I shudder how the people face criminal dangers in their own country of origin, being not secure and safe.
This is because of the rigidity of the unpatriotic high leadership arrogance, insubordination and pride of life rocking the boat of Nigeria’s voyage, to the real destination of good success, progress and of prosperity.
It is better we think again and again and go back to the drawing board. The country is fizzling out the strength to be a strong nation, that can defend herself patriotically anytime. Let us think again.
