Soludo commences arrest of Pastors performing Fake Miracles, Challenges them to heal Patients in Hospital

Governor Chukwuma Soludo is in the news again after he allegedly boasts as the only Governor that was able to stop the unpopular Independent People Of Biafra (IPOB) Monday’s Sit at Home in the entire South East, and the only governor that equally led a successful dismantling of shrines and chased away proponents of African traditional Worships he considers as fake and performing rituals that are not acceptable to the modern society.
Now Governor Soludo is after individuals he regarded as ‘Fake Pastors’ and has threatened to arrest and sent them to jail unless they prove their calling by going to the hospital to heal a sick patient rather perform staged miracles in their Churches.

Soludo made the remarks on Sunday at St. Patrick’s Cathedral during the All Knights Day celebration of the Catholic Diocese of Awka where he announced the commencement of a crackdown on pastors and prophets accused of performing fake miracles and deceiving residents in the state.

The governor disclosed that several suspects had already been arrested and were currently in custody, adding that some of them were making confessions to authorities.

According to the governor, the state government would no longer tolerate religious practices aimed at exploiting vulnerable people through what he described as deceptive miracle claims and false teachings.

He challenged clerics who claim to possess genuine healing powers to demonstrate such abilities in public hospitals by healing sick patients.

“We’ve arrested fake pastors and bishops. Whoever wants to perform miracle should come to Amaku Hospital,” Soludo said.

The governor accused some religious leaders of promoting what he termed “salvation without the cross,” saying such teachings encourage laziness and false hope among citizens.
