KUALA LUMPUR, 2026, the Asia Pacific Sustainability Conference and Awards (APSCA) brought together more than 200 delegates at Complex Kraf to champion the integration of kindness and innovation into corporate sustainability. Organized by SustNET, the event highlighted the launch of the Project Genius for Sustainability® and celebrated the growing Kindness Movement within the regional business ecosystem.
The Sustainability Integration Model (SIM) in Action
Central to the conference was the advocacy for the Sustainability Integration Model (SIM). Rather than viewing sustainability through a narrow circular lens, the conference emphasized systems thinking and ecosystem metaphors. This approach frames sustainability as a thriving, interconnected web where corporate prosperity is inextricably linked to environmental restoration and community dignity.

Project Genius for Sustainability®: Dr. Norsaidatul Akmar Maze and Dr. Daniel CF introduced this regenerative framework designed to transform industrial “scraps” into community-scale utility solutions. The project utilizes a proprietary 5P Assessment Matrix (People, Planet, Prosperity, Process, and Purpose) to ensure innovations are holistically sustainable.
The Kindness Movement:
Dr. Daniel CF Ng delivered a powerful address on “15 Seconds of Kindness,” urging leaders to move beyond “intelligence” and embrace “courageous kindness” as a transformative business force.
Strategic Collaborations: The event witnessed significant Certificate of Collaboration exchanges between SustNET and key partners, including Cyberview Sdn Bhd, PKNS Group, IBE UiTM, and the Rotary Club.
Another highpoint of the Asia Pacific Sustainability Conference & Awards (APSCA) 2026 was the official invitation of His Excellency Hon. Ebube Ebisike George – SOAD Minister Of Trade to the event.
Hon. Ebube has also been appointed as Global Sustainability Ambassador by SustNet and partners who are organisers of the APSCA 2026 event. Hon. Ebube’s mandate as Ambassador is to bring more global players and knowledge economy experts into the sustainability ecosystem whilst expanding the global visibility of the event.
One of the surprise winners of the APSCA 2026 award is the international brand and United Kingdom based “Innovare”.
Innovare founded by Hana Nur and with Hon. Ebube Ebisike George as Marketing Director has recently expanded into Nigeria to establish a footprint in the Africa market.
Innovare with well over 60,000 customers has strategic plans to enter the American and South America markets in the nearest future as well. A Legacy of Care
The conference concluded with the debut of the official SustNET song, which tells the story of a movement that started in 2015 as a “seed planted in Malaysia’s green heart” and has now grown into a regional vision for humanity.
