As the 31st March deadline approaches on intending defaulters of the Alhaji President Tinubu tax regime, Nigerians are warned to prepare for bleak days ahead as failure to comply with the tax orders attracts a N100,000.00 deduction from your bank account.
Worse case scenario would be Nigerians on the N70,000 minimum wage threshold, whose monthly salary is a far cry to the warning deductions of N100,000.00.
As the Unfortunate event is unfolding, rather than make Nigerians rise up and revolt this deliberate act of impoverishing the citizenry, the people are busy on social media shouting APC this and that while the government of Alhaji President Tinubu and his economic gangs schemes on deducting straight from your account the sum of N100,000.00, because it is certain, majority of Nigerian will certainly fall short of this frustrating and unwise policy in the midst of painful poverty and lack of basic infrastructure.
A netizen out of concern send this warning; “instead of being angry, you guys are on Facebook advising people to go file their taxes.
Are you people serious?
You drill your own borehole because there’s no water.
You pay private security because the government can’t protect you.
You buy fuel to run your generator because there’s no light.
You send your kids to private school because government schools are a joke.
You installed solar because NEPA finished you.
You are literally running a country inside a country …paying for everything the government is supposed to provide.
And now instead of fixing ANY of it, they set a March 31st deadline…. miss it, and they take ₦100,000 straight from your account.
And you people are smiling, Laughing and Sharing “how to file your taxes” tutorials like everything is normal.
This is what has finished Nigeria. Not just bad leaders…. but citizens who have been so beaten down, they defend the people beating them.
The youths of this country have failed themselves.
