How President Tinubu sadly represents one of Nigeria’s worst nightmare

Gomal Times

As a bonafide citizen of Nigeria with presumed freedom of speech, I dare posit that BAT sadly represents the manifestation of our worst nightmare; a symbolic representation of the worst amongst us eventually taking control of a complacent nation that has since lost its moral compass.

When a country enthrones an embodiment of the very character traits we expend our efforts teaching our children to keep away from (drugs, embezzlement, theft, etc);  when a country eventually enthrones such in the highest office, what good can you expect from such a country?

Nigeria and Nigerians will continue to suffer the prevailing nightmare until there is a national revival to restore her moral compass; a national revival to restore her collective will to say no to the current leadership mess, and a collective will to hold the politicians accountable for the colossal damages they have done to this country. Nigeria would likely never know peace until some form of justice is provided to appease the blood of so many innocent citizens that has soaked her soil across its villages and towns for decades, and still soaking it’s soil till date; because leadership is misdirected, and lacks the will to guarantee the security of the lives of its citizens.

How can a people of over 200m+, the most populous black nation on the planet, continue to allow the few and worst amongst her identified as embezzlers, election riggers, drug barons, certificate forgers, and commonwealth looters; How can such a large majority continue to allow it’s worst minority continue dictating it’s destiny?

Just looking at all the political scam and waste of energy in the midst of chronic insecurity, poverty, hunger, decay, insincerity… and weeping for Nigeria, and all of us
