A chieftain of Abia State chapter of Labour Party, Comrade Njoku Jerry Ajike, who doubles as the State Publicity Secretary in the regional Chapter of the party has come up to lay emphasis and clarification in the ongoing meddlesome activities of former Governors of the State led by Senator Orji Uzor Kalu and his followers and other matters arising in the journey to 2027 electoral year.
Comrade Njoku speaking from his country home in Ohafia submitted a statement, he insist should be shared widely for Nigerians and people of Abia State in the Diasporas to know the true state of political developments in the state involving the trio of Orji Uzor Kalu, Benjamin Kalu, and the other group consisting of Okezie Ikpeazu and Chief T.A. Orji whom all of a sudden have found a voice to talk down on the good Labour Party led government under the leadership of Governor Alex Otti.
Mr. Njoku in a written address stated;
“First and foremost, I must make it clear that what is happening in the politics of Abia State today under the astute leadership of Governor Alex Otti is the Biblical story of Daniel Chapter 6 Verse 3 playing out.”
“Good Characters”, the wise teacher taught us, “extols the throne, keeps it attractive and formidable to the envy of both friends and foes”
Governor Otti’s principled administrative stance and sincere commitment to the leadership of the new Abia has definitely and distinctively stood him out among all the governors in the 36 State of the federation in this present administration and when you compare Abia State to what it used to be before we came into government, the packs of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, Chief T.A.Orji and Okezie Ikpeazu, all former governors of Abia State, put together, should be ashamed and feeling disgust that someone they have fought against in all their years of political sojourn is eventually rebuilding the ruin and the mess they made of the region, you definitely do not expect them to be comfortable with the good news of infrastructure and economic development that they abysmally denied the people during their tenures as governors, and talking about the Deputy Speaker, Rt Hon, Benjamin Kalu mounting the already known podium of deception and vain political rhetoric, Only a person who was not in Abia State to witness the battle Abians, both residents and visitors fought during the 2023 elections to rescue the state from the grips of these demonic foxes and witches would entertain their stories and campaign rhetoric.”

Benjamin Kalu’s recent rallies to collect bags of rice and red APC t-shirts, at least to assuage the frustrating economic situation and douse tension awhile, otherwise it is a common knowledge with the current situation of development here in God’s own state today, 85% of Abians are willing and ever ready to join us to build very strong resistance to these wolves parading as sheep” They do not mean any good for the people and not for the State either.”

“Let me clarify the true position in Abia state today in this simple analysis; I sponsored a very important road project including drainage of just a little over a hundred metres in my community and the reactions from the people jolted my sense of responsibility to the community even in my little capacity, the people were not only super excited, they made it a duty to shower prayers on whoever that did that road, the youth extended their usual evening revelry to that portion of the road that can accommodate their drinking tables.”
“For that portion of road and drainage delivered to ease movement of farmers in the community, even those I thought were enemies were happy at what they saw, they stopped by to shower prayers even on Gov Alex Otti for projects done in my village by my humble self, the people were quick to share the good story with friends”
“This is what is unfolding in Abia State today, even those you think are enemies are very pleased with the physical infrastructure development and administrative discipline that Governor Alex Otti has brought into the New Abia, and that is all that matters.”
“Unfortunately and embarrassingly too, the past political rulers of Abia State and their evil supporters cannot withstand the reality of a New Abia under the leadership of Gov Otti, that has liberated the people and their communities from the grips of individuals without sense of shame nor morals nor any sense of economic development.”
