“I have put together this very brief information to break the jinx that is holding our local producers down in Nigeria and in the rest of Africa from making the top dollar in Palm Oil Exports”
The challenge of our Palm Oil producers in Nigeria and indeed Africa is that of the unavailability of testing facilities to test for the required parameters of Palm Oil products for export. These parameters include the Free Fatty Acid (FFA), Iodine Value (IV), DOBI, and Moisture/Impurity content. Few European buyers would further demand for MOSH and MOAH values.
Producers would send samples to international inspectors like SGS, Bureau Veritas etc and it will take months for the results to be ready as they would have to send the samples to their laboratory facility in Europe for analysis. MOSH and MOAH is tested in their Bulgaria Lab.
However, most Buyers ask for basic FFA, Iodine value (IV), DOBI and Moisture/Impurity content but our local producers are not able to wait for so long for SGS to come up with their results which International Buyers would rely on to transact. This is very discouraging for our local Palm Oil producers. This is Bad News right?
But now here’s the Good News!
My company, Industrial Transactions Limited (ITL) has just secured exclusivity from a Singaporean scientific innovative company called IAS Global to distribute a machine that will analyze the four basic parameters required by international buyers in just 2 minutes. The machine does not require Chemical reagents like conventional laboratories would need. This technology is sure going to revolutionize the Palm Oil industry in the World. God willing, I will do everything humanly possible to break the jinx that is holding our local producers down in Nigeria and in the rest of Africa from making the top dollar in Palm Oil Exports.
