The Coalition and Atiku Abubakar; another ‘Emilokann’ in the making

By Njoku SaintJerry A.

Dele Momodu in his recent interview on Arise TV on the 17th July confirms the fears of the average Nigerian about another ‘Emilokan’ woven around the personality of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, another Fulani point man after the late President Muhammadu Buhari,

MY THOUGHTS: Politics they say is a game and politicians play it dirty. When they started this coalition talks, some folks no doubt did cautioned and continue to call for caution for Peter Obi to be careful not to trade or squander the goodwill and trust he has earned from his supporters.

This coalition does not appear it was intended to be a level playing ground. It is all for and about Atiku Abubakar. They claim to be broad based but you don’t have to consult an oracle to see that it is weaved around one individual seeking to exploit and profit from the support and goodwill of others.

This is another Emilokan. The same politics of entitlement that produced Buhari and Tinubu is what Atiku’s machinery is cooking in the name of coalition, If you follow recent TV interviews of the defecting political leaders, you do not need a crystal ball to tell where the entire political machinery is driving at. Again, Peter Obi should be careful not to jump into this contraption with his two legs.
like a wise teacher would say; “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true, the other is to refuse to believe what is true.”
